What To Expect
The New Patient Experience makes us different. From the moment a walk in the door for the first time the patient will see that they are in a different office, dedicated to serving the individual with a personal greeting by name. You will spend a full hour with the doctor, starting with a private consultation to discuss your concerns, followed by a clinical exam, a thorough evaluation of the face, head and neck, soft tissues of the mouth, tooth by tooth exam and a detailed periodontal (gum) evaluation. Utilizing an intra-oral camera, a guided tour of the mouth is performed to allow the patients to see in real time the condition of their mouth. With permission, necessary x-rays and photographs are obtained. The patient is invited back for a Review of Findings consultation appointment to inform and present treatment options. This appointment is an educational event with the doctor and an opportunity for the patient co-discover their level of dental health. A written report in patient-friendly language and a comprehensive treatment plan with fees/ insurance co-pays is presented. If doctor and patient are in agreement with the course of care, appointments are scheduled. This is an effort to collaborate with the patient to improve their dental health.
